Reverse Light Switch Manual Transmission
Manual Transmission Mounted Reverse / Back-Up Light Switch.
In 1978-1979 they could have had a switch with two push-on spade connectors. If you have this style switch, be sure to order the pigtail to convert yours to this style.
Some early rigs had screw-on connectors. If you have this style switch, be sure to order the pigtail to convert yours to this style.

Info only my mistake.
Let me first state this switch worked great. The full story is I did not read the full discerption before ordering this switch. My Cherokee has a T-176 4 speed. You know what happens when this switch is installed in a T-176 that meant for a T-18 Yep you guess it. The reverse light illuminate in all forward gears and go out in reverse. So if you have a t-18 this is the switch you need. If you have a t-176 get a Normally Closed Switch.
