Extra thick polyethylene replacement gas tanks. These tanks include new straps, lock rings and o-rings. Tank is 21 gallon capacity and is approximately 53" long. 1970-1977 model tanks have an approximately 2" diameter filler neck. If you have a 1977 model, you need to verify the filler neck size before ordering (1978 model fill necks are approximately 1" diameter).
Make sure to remove any plastic shavings inside the tank before installing. Also, be sure to adjust / dial-in your sending unit before final installation.

Just what I needed
After getting tired of replacing fuel filters every other month from a dirty tank, and clogging pick up tube, I got this tank. It shipped fast and install was simple. I also got the optional pick up tube to make sure this was likely the last time I would have to drop the tank for a long time.
