In-Tank Fuel Pump Conversion Kit!
This kit is designed specifically for the Full Size Jeep and retains the stock fuel tank. Novak’s fuel pump kit will cleanly upgrade the original Jeep pick-up tube or pick-up tube / fuel sending unit combo to an in-tank pump assembly that provides the higher, ~58 PSI pressures required by GM Gen. III+ LS engines and Holley Sniper EFI kits, while still retaining the function of the sending unit. Note that some models have a separate pick-up tube and separate sending unit, and those models will reuse their original sending unit (ie: no new sending unit will be included).
This can also be used for Carbureted systems (with an adjustable pressure regulator and return) and other EFI conversions (Sniper, Pro-Flow, Howell, etc) with a regulator for the correct PSI.
Included in this kit is a Pressure Regulator / Filter combo that will supply ~58 psi to the fuel injection rails through a return-less supply line. This is for Gen. III+ engines that require an external regulator to the GM fuel rail.
This kit is also available without the Pressure Regulator. It is identical to regulated kit, except the regulator is not included. This style kit is for Gen. III engines that already have the factory regulator integrated into the fuel rail, typically found on many 1997-2002 GM LS / Vortec series engines. You will notice the presence of a diaphragm style regulator and its associated return line, in addition to the always-present supply line. Check your engine for applicability. Note that the earlier style fuel rails that feature their own regulator will always have a supply line and return line.
Installation instructions are included with the kit.

In tank fuel pump conversion
This is a slick combination in-tank fuel pump with external in-line regulator with return line. I am doing a Holley Sniper 2 EFI swap on my '76 J10 with 360. I previously swapped in a poly fuel tank from an '84 J10 with a front-loading sending unit. The tank straps up snug against the bottom of the bed rails. There is not enough clearance to utilize the pump hanger supplied by Holley since it wants to be mounted on top of the tank with bulky A/N fittings. This conversion from Novak fit the bill since it retains the front-loading arrangement of the stock sending unit location and hangs the pump from its pickup tube. This would easily be a 5-star rating, except I had to swap out the sending unit itself that came from Novak because it was giving very erratic readings across the sweep of the float arm. I happened to have a stock replacement sending unit that I also got from BJ's and that sending unit's readings were very steady from 9 ohms to 78 ohms across the sweep of the float arm. Fortunately, the sending units were the same from stock to the one that came from Novak. So, I just modified the stock replacement unit I got from BJ's to match the modifications needed to fit the Novak conversion and all is well. I'm still mid-build on the complete truck resto/mod, so it's far from being operational, but overall, the product fit the bill for what I was trying to accomplish! BJ'S RESPONSE: NOTE, the sending units have a protective coating that preserves the circuit board during storage. That coating can be removed by sloshing fuel or electric contact cleaner spray, which then will allow it to read correctly.
