Replacement In-Tank Fuel Level Sending Units for 1980-1985 J-trucks. This sending unit mounts on the side of the tank as original. Includes o-ring and filter sock.
**Note** All sending units may require adjustment during installation in order to dial in the exact reading. This means you may have to slightly bend the float arm up or down in order to get the perfect reading. Because of this, we do recommend dropping the gas tank and adjusting before final installation.

Sending Unit
Unit fit perfectly. This was used in an '82 J-Truck with a poly tank. The tank has FRONT-loaded fill and vent lines. It came with a metal lock ring, but I reused the stock poly lock ring with the provided o-ring.

Right resistance, needed a little adjusting for it to reach full but not to bad. Glad to get my fuel gauge back
