Product Details

Replacement tailgate window lift pins! These replace the worn out lift pins on the tailgate window regulator arms that the tailgate window lifter channel connects to.  If you've ever tried to install the lifter channel clips in the tailgate, you know how frustrating (and damaging to your arm skin) they can be.  This not only fixes worn out / rusty factory pins, but also gives you a retainer clip that slides on from the side.  That means no more having to install the clips blind and have them pop off  shift / etc during installation.

These are also great since it upgrades the clip design and you can easily take the clips on and off and they are reusable!

The pin has a shoulder to retain your factory spring and spring cup (spring and spring cup not included).

So much easier using these. I needed to dry in my body but still be able to repair tailgate at a later date and these made it a snap to remove or replace my glass as needed.

Easy install, ground off the staked head of the OEM pin. Old pin came out cleanly. Do wish that replacement springs and washer were part of the kit. I was unable to salvage the cup washer and spring from one side, and the other side was missing completely. Nice to have my rear window working again.

Works very well. Easy to install. However it would be nice if the kit included the spring and washer also .

Installed upgraded window pins on assembly tonight. They fit pretty well. Had to use a file to clean hole, before pins fit, which I expected. I would recommend including washers with these kits. The screws bottomed out in the pin before the shoulder touched the bracket. One of The pins protruded thru the bracket, so it definitely had to have a washer. The assembly was salvaged from a 77 wagoneer, so there may be some differences in material thickness throughout the years. I would still recommend this to others.
