Holley Sniper 4-Barrel Secondary Connecting Rods Progressive Linkage Kit (Fixed Style)

This Adjustable Quick Fuel / Holley carburetor mechanical secondary connecting rod kit fits most 4-barrel carbs (gold in color) and also fits the Holley Sniper 4-Barrel EFI systems, and allows you to dial in your 4-Barrel Carburetor or EFI.  The secondary connecting rods control the time that your secondary is open so that you have the ultimate control over how it is operating and can tune your rig to its fullest potential.  Kit includes the necessary hardware to install.

If you’ve upgraded to a 4-barrel carb or a Sniper 4-barrel EFI, you may have noticed that the throttle can come on a bit strong.  This kit helps your throttle come in more gradually by allowing the secondaries to open at whatever rate you set them to as it allows for infinite adjustment of the secondary throttle blades for maximum horsepower output. Note that unlike the fixed style, this adjustable-link style opens the secondaries to 100%.

If installed on a Holley Sniper 4-Barrel, you will have to be running Firmware version 1.1.1 or later on your ECU (handheld version 1.1.7 or later).

If you are running ported vacuum on your distributor, this link renders it inoperable as ported vacuum is only present after the throttle butterflies are open slightly.  Holley chose to incorporate ported vacuum on the secondaries instead of the primaries.

Will work on Stealth Sniper versions, XFlow versions as well as 2bbl and 4bbl Snipers!

Includes required cotter pins for installation.

**Note: in rare cases, users with this progressive link may notice a slight rich condition ‘bog’ when applying the throttle.  If so, you can adjust this under Fuel / Acceleration Enrichment / AE Correction vs TPS in the Sniper software.  With the secondaries coming in later, you want to correct to have the amount of acceleration enrichment to be applied at a slightly different rate.  Rather than having a majority of fuel dumped at 0 TPS, you should adjust to have half the fuel dumped at 0 TPS, then taper the fuel from that point at the same rate as it was originally.  You are now going to incorporate the other half of the fuel to come in at the secondary tip-in spot, but you have to taper that down more quickly to ensure you’re at 0% correction at 100% TPS.
