If you changed camshafts or machined the block and heads you may have to change your pushrod length (ALWAYS check before installing).

Pre-1974 heads must install a straight 7/16 rocker stud in place of the factory bottleneck style. 1974 to 1991 must machine head for guide plates and drill & tap for 7/16 rocker studs.
