Automatic transmission flexplate for the 1974-1979 AMC V8 mated to an AMC TH400. These are round, have holes in them, and are externally balanced to match the 401.
164 Teeth on the Ring Gear.
**Note: Flexplates are for Automatics, Flywheels are for Manuals.
Our Flexplates have the ring gear starter bevel on the correct side! Many aftermarket units have the ring gear starter bevel on the wrong side, creating grinding noises, ring gear damage and starter bendix gear damage.
