Insulator
Overall I'm pretty happy with this insulator. It did have what I think was a factory defect or 2 though. It was dinged in 1 of the 2 main ports enough so to create a bump in what should be a completely flat smooth surface. I was able to carefully file it out. The other defect was the 4 mounting holes as 1 was pretty out of square with the other 3 and all bottoms were a little rough. I filed what I could as these surfaces need to be smooth and perpendicular/square to ensure a solid mate with intake and flange gasket. I filed the holes out too because it was incredibly hard to put over the 4 intake bolts and even harder to get off because the flange gasket you sent was too thin. **BJ's Response: we checked our other inventory and don't see any of the issues noted above, so appears to be a one-off incident. If you ever receive anything that doesn't appear to be correct or top quality, you can always contact us to get it corrected. For the lower gasket comment, those are the same thickness as the stock originals that came on these when new.
