Modern accessories can take their toll on a vehicle's electrical system. Powermaster offers High Amperage Alternators to give your electrical system the extra boost it needs. If you have added lights, winches, or other power hungry accessories, Powermaster offers easy to install high amp upgrades.
Note that the alternator comes with a single-groove pulley. If you have a double-groove pulley, you will need to change them over (they are a direct swap). Also, if you have an older model vehicle with an external voltage regulator, you can use this alternator with some minor wiring changes under the hood. This will allow you to remove the external regulator and associated wiring too!

Good Alternator
While it was a tight fit on my 1989, I was able to get it in without modifying anything other than the grounding bracket and lengthening the cables.

Wonderful performance
I bought this alternator for my Grand Wagoneer probably 6 years ago when I started adding things like MSD ignition and it has served me very well all these years. The extra output has allowed me to do Holley efi, sound system, fans and dual batteries. It puts out 14.0-14.6 volts through the whole rpm range even idle.
