Tailgate Window Wiring Harness 1972-1991.

Tailgate Window Replacement Wiring Harness.  This is the harness that goes from the factory harness on the rear frame and goes up through the body and into the tailgate on Wagons!  The originals typical fail over time and break / crack and cause shorts.

Direct Replacement for your old, worn-out or broken tailgate harness.  

Fits approximately 1972 up to 1991 with rear defogger and electric tailgate window motor.  All wires are labeled on the harness to make install easier.  Wires are also labeled to match the diagram for our keyed tailgate switch upgrade to make that install easier. 

Includes wiring and connectors for:

• Safety Switch
• Tailgate Window Motor
• Key Switch
• License Plate Light (Bullet Connector Fits 1974+)
• Defrost
• Ground Wires

 

Also includes an additional ground wire from the frame to the ground stud inside the tailgate. 

**Note: 1989-1991 Models have an additional harness that goes to the wiper motors, which was not part of this harness from the factory.  That separate portion is not included or currently being remade.
