The standard-duty Hedman Hedders come with a black coating that is NOT high-temp coating and is for pre-installation protection.
IMPORTANT!: Installing coated headers on an engine during the break-in period will cause discoloration. We recommend the use of factory manifolds, or an old set of headers, during the engine break-in period.
MORE IMPORTANT: These headers use a 1/4-inch flange and it is HIGHLY recommended to run our Remflex Exhaust Header Gaskets to help the sealing of these headers.
Hardware, Standard Gaskets, 3-bolt Exhaust Adapters and Mounting Hardware are included.
