Vent Window Division Bars with Seals Front Doors

Are you tired of your door window rattling? What about wind and water leaks at the divider bar at your vent window? While replacing the door glass slide channel fixes part of the issue, until now there wasn't a complete solution. BJ's Off-Road is proud to offer the division bar channel and seal for your divider bar! This channel and seal attaches to the back side of the vent window and is the guide that the front edge of the door glass rides in.

  • Glad These Are Available But Installation Takes Finesse

Got these installed and it was indeed helpful watching the YT video as a guide. However I found the pre-drilled holes in the new and matching vertical chome divider 'cover' don't precisely align. Makes for frustrating work that requires some 'engineering' to work. Getting the vent window glass removed from the frame was frustrating on one of my doors; it's difficult to see the splines on the shaft and the tabbed washer (which needs to be driven off the shaft) without a very good cleaning and bright light. It appears I can't include photos on this review, so I'll attempt to put them in the BJ's Offroad Forum. They show the shaft/washer splines and the orientation of the tabbed washer to enable its removal.

  • Solid product but ease of install could improve

In the middle of install on these and so far everything is lining up as it should and the quality of this is apparent. there is another review that mentioned the missing hardware. I would say that is my only observation that prevents a 5 star review. Adding a spacer and the correct size rivets would be a phenomenal improvement as a lot of us are DIY'ers and don't have an arsenal of supplies at our disposal. I think for the price of these that would be an easy add on without much added cost to the company. otherwise, happy overall and would recommend.

nice piece to have but no hardware/ rivets etc included. you have to remove the small mounting brackets from the old one and find appropriate hardware
