Pre-Runner Style Bumper 1979-1991

BJ's Off-Road Pre-Runner Bumper Series is an AWESOME compliment to your rig, and gives you that desert PreRunner competition truck look! Not only do you reduce your approach angle, but you also help reduce the possibility of a front roll-over with these bumpers. They are made specifically for Full-Size Jeeps!!

If you have an earlier model truck from 1974-1978, you can install frame horns and then install this bumper (recommended to receive bumper first, then mock up and install frame horns).

Difference Between a Traditional Winch and a Front Mount Winch

• Traditional winch bolts (the bolts that secure the winch to the bumper) go vertically through the bottom of the bumper into the bottom of the winch.  These are typically your 9,500 pound and smaller winches (check the winch manufacturer's installation instructions to confirm).  Note that the Harbor Freight Badlands 12k pound winch mounts in the Traditional Style.
• Front mount winch bolts go horizontally through the front face of the bumper and into the front face of the winch.  These are typically your 10k pound and larger winches (check the winch manufacturer's installation instructions to confirm)
