AMC V8 oil pump repair kit. This kit will help restore your oil pump's lagging pressure and performance.
Melling oil pump repair kits are provided to supply the parts needed to rebuild a specific individual oil pump. It includes all the required parts needed for a quality oil pump rebuild.

Keep your oil pressure up where it needs to be to keep that AMC engine living & thriving!
Be sure to add our Oil Pump Midplate through the pull-down menu on this page to make sure your gears have a solid surface to ride on. If you don't, then the gears will ride on the aluminum oil filter adapter housing and will gouge the surface, leading to cavitation and lower oil pressure!
To assure self-priming of the oil pump, fill pump with petroleum jelly before installing the oil pump cover. Do not use grease.

Super quality machined components (except for the gasket - not precisely cut to fit). Recommend to separately order BJ's gasket.
