Replacement Tailgates for the M715 with Jeep LOGO!! These tailgates are brand new and Made here in the USA!
These fit the 1967-1969 M715 models.
Includes the Brackets on the Body (You Will Reuse Your Existing Pins)!
Each tailgate is hand-made and constructed of top-quality materials:
- Hitch plates (top corners for the chains) are 3/16" Hot Roll Steel that is cut on a waterjet
- Lower pivot piece is 1/4"-wall Mild Steel Tube, 1" OD, 1/2" ID
- Center Section (where it says "Jeep") is 14 Gauge Cold Roll Steel
- Everything else is laser cut 14 gauge Cold Roll Steel.
- The Hinge Brackets bolt to the Truck and Interfaces with the Tailgate (Pins Required, Not Included)
- The Hinge Brackets and Pivot Brackets are made from 2pc (original was 1pc)
- Tie Down Pockets are a little different than original, but function the same
**Note that Original Tailgates were Gas Welded, while ours are MIG Welded! And Welds are in same places as originals!
The OE Pins were 7/16" diameter.

M715 tailgate
It’s a great product been looking for one for years. Only wish it came with some hardware or that hardware was an available option such as chains nuts, bolts, rubber stops, hinge pins.
