Other options include different color piping or stitching, perforated leather (this option does cost more), etc, etc. These are made to completely replace your old upholstery (these are NOT covers that go over existing upholstery).

High Quality!
Ordered these in “autumn” color. Very close match to the original “nutmeg.” Just ever-so slightly lighter. Very high quality, visually flawless leather. Nice, thick padding beneath seating areas. BJ’s sent a sample book with real leather swatches to make color selection easier.

Absolutely the BEST
The name Katzin in known the world over for their qualty leather replacement seat covers and BJs is the only place you can buy them from. I looked at cheaper "fits most" but none were custom for my 86 GW. Local upholstry shops gave me quotes of $3000 and up. I was able to get two tone leather seating with perforated inserts and heat options for less than half of that thanks to BJs. Now don't confuse these for cheap slip on covers, these replace the current factory coverings with all new "skins". Cut the hog rings that attach the factory skins, remove them, add some upholstery foam if you want (we added half inch on the sides and 3/4" in the center of the seats for added comfort) then stretch the new skins tight over the seats and instead of hog rings, secure them with quality zip ties (got this tip from a local installer of Katzkins) which not only can aid in cinching them tight and making any easy adjustments later if necessary. Don't let the installation scare you, it's easy even for a beginner. The two tone Mahogany and Tan seats look great with the restored factory interior. You won't be disappointed, your friends will envy you and your Waggy will be all smiles!

Katskin Seat Covers
Very impressed with these covers... nice fit and the quality of the leather surpassed my expectations. I took a gamble and chose the new diamond pattern insert option and couldn't be happier with it. Installed them myself in about 6hrs, that's with no prior upholstery experience and it came out great. Highly recommend this product!

better than new
these are extremely well-made. they fit perfectly, and were well worth the money. i opted for the higher quality leather, which i would recommend. i get a lot of compliments and they are as nice as the seats in brand new cars. took me about 4 or 5 hours to install the whole set, but i destroyed the old covers taking them off. worst part was removing the plastic bezels for the headrests.

Top quality but not what I was expecting. Thought I was getting OEM replacement covers for a resto project. Not even close! Ryan explained to me that this is what Katzkins sells and does not represent them to be OEM
