Officially Licensed Replacement Tailgates for Jeep Fleetside Pickups with Jeep LOGO!! These tailgates are brand new and Made here in the USA! These fit the 1973-1988 models.
Each tailgate is hand-made and constructed of top-quality materials:
- Side pieces are 1/4" thick Cold Roll Steel that is CNC milled
- Hitch plates (top corners for the chains) are 3/16" Hot Roll Steel that is cut on a waterjet
- Lower pivot piece is 1/8"-wall Mild Steel Tube
- Center Section (where it would normally say "Jeep") is 18 Gauge Cold Roll Steel
- Everything else is laser cut 16 gauge Cold Roll Steel.
The actual pivot brackets are all CNC milled / turned and include a back plate for if / when your bolts snap off.
The stock OEM Jeep latch / latch mechanisms fit these tailgates.
Tailgates do NOT include latch or latch mechanism.
