ICM 1988-1991 (for my '87 J20)
My '87 J20 has the newer style weatherproof connectors used on '88-91 Grand Wagoneers instead of the bigger round connectors used from '78-'87. Why, I don't know. Whatever Jeep had on the shelf at the time, I guess. This was plug and play for me. Fixed the hot engine no-start condition after running fine. I probably should have bought two so I have a spare but the first one lasted 38 years so hopefully this one will last a good long time. Fixed!

Ignition Control Module 1988-1991
This ICM is way better than the ones bought at chain auto parts stores. It's much beefier and heavy duty than those others. I went through three ICMs from those chain stores before buying this one. Once installed, my 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer started right up. I was getting no spark from the others. Don't waste your time like I did. Buy this one instead.
