Replacement heater cable 1973-1985.
This is the cable that connects from your heater control slide lever (left of the gauges) to the heater core box in the engine compartment. Replica of the original, it has a steel cable with a black plastic sheething.
Help ensure your heat is on when needed, and off when not!
Replaces OEM Part Numbers: 998118 0988118 J0988118
**NOTE: Video above is showing the replacement on a 1986-1991 style. Installation is very similar, but the 1973-1985 Cable will go to the far left side of the dash.

Quality Replacement Cable
This is a great cable. Tough to find replacement that as always, the folks at BJ's have in stock. Purchased this for my '65 Wagoneer. The application doesn't list it for the early years but it still works. A few inches longer and a little different design but functions with no modifications. Good part, buy it.
