Fuel Level Sending Unit 1970-1979 Wagoneer 1974-1979 Cherokee
Replacement In-Tank Fuel Level Sending Unit. Includes O-ring and lock ring.
**Note** All sending units may require adjustment during installation in order to dial in the exact reading. This means you may have to slightly bend the float arm up or down in order to get the perfect reading. Because of this, we do recommend dropping the gas tank and adjusting before final installation.
**Note: if you are having trouble installing the sending unit in your tank, or it won't orient properly in the opening, you can remove the metal tab under the plate to allow for a greater range of rotation when installing.

Minor struggle but works!
The first attempt to install this sending unit didn't go as easy as I had hoped. After contacting support, they informed me there was a tab on the bottom that could be removed that allowed for easy installation. It would have been helpful to have that mentioned on the website or the packaging, and saved some time, but overall I am satisfied with the product and price.
