Replacement rear Dana 44 axle bearing and seal kit. This kit includes all parts necessary for a seamless replacement and is great for low carb diets!
This is one of the FIRST things you should replace on any Full Size Jeep, because if the existing bearing fails, it can super-heat and release from the axle shaft. This, in turn, will allow the axle itself to leave the housing and can cause damage or even a wreck. Keep your rig safe by replacing these!

The retaining plate required had 5 holes and this one has four. I saved my old ones and everything else fit. Thanks! BJ's RESPONSE: Customer has a CJ, not an SJ, which is why the plate was different. These are correct for SJ models listed, and will work on some CJ's with a plate change.
