These are different than a lot of the big-box stores where they are rebuilt outside the country or overseas.  These are built right here in the USA, by people that have a lot of experience with AMC engines!

Each Engine is Triple Measured During Assembly for Consistency and Pressure Tested.  They are also shipped dry as we don’t want to wash off the high ZDDP assembly lubricant (unless Break-In Service is Selected). 

ASSEMBLY

We can build your engine as a longblock, or from Carburetor to Oil Pan.  We prefer to build them from Carb to Pan, as it’s easier for you and also safer to ship.  You can either send us your Carburetor, Intake and Oil Pan (will be cleaned and installed), or we can sell you those items and ship to our builder.   

CARBURETOR REBUILD

Yet another service we offer with this rebuilt engine (you must send us your carburetor to have this service).  

BREAK-IN OPTION

We offer a break-in option for your rebuilt engine, making things MUCH easier on you.  Our builder will use the correct break-in oil and will bring it up to temperature and vary the RPM's, breaking in the cam.  This means it's ready to run when you get it, and you don't have to break in the cam yourself!

BUILD SHEET

We include a build sheet with each order!  That way you know all of the specifications of your specific build.

BUILD TIME

Typically 3 weeks, but can vary slightly.

PREPARATION OF CORE

Engines need to be assembled as a long block.  Disassembled Engines will incur a $700 additional charge.

WARRANTY

1 Year Warranty Against Manufacturing Defects.  Oil Analysis IS Required.

**CORE REFUND NOTE: All cores must be received back within 180 days of the original order date (NOT from when you receive the engine) in order to receive a core refund to your original payment method.  After 180 days, core refunds are only available as store credit (no exceptions).  Also, all cores must be in good, rebuildable condition.  Any cores that have damaged / non-usable parts may incur charges (which will be deducted from the core return value). Engines that are 0.060 or over are not rebuildable, and will not receive a core refund.
