This adapter allows you to connect a Chevrolet V8 engine to a Scout Torqueflite 727 transmission.  This adapter plate assembly is used to adapt a GM V8 Engine to the Scout Torqueflite 727 3-speed automatic transmission. The adapter kit will include a steel adapter plate, Chevy crankshaft bushing, Scout torque converter spacer’s, Chevy 168th flexplate drilled to fit the Scout torque converter, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.

Kit is not intended and does not fit GM LS engine.

Note: The flexplate included in this kit is for exclusive use with the 1985 & earlier GM V8 that is internally balanced.

Late model V8’s that are externally balanced feature weights on the flexplate. The weights interfere with the Scout torque converter bolt pattern.

Note: The torque converter stack-up height that we have allowed for only works with Scout torque converters that were used with the Scout 304 / 345 V8 engines. This kit is not intended for use when replacing a Scout 6 cylinder.
