Buick High Pressure High Volume Oil Pump
Fits the Buick 225, 231 and 350, this pump will restore your stock unit's lagging pressure and performance.
These oil pumps increase oil circulation via 1/4” longer gears. Ideal for severe duty applications and engines with excessive bearing clearance. We HIGHLY recommend the use of a stock relief spring or an adjustable regulator when using hi-volume, hi-pressure oil pumps.
NOTE: we do not recommend Hi-Volume, Hi-Pressure oil pumps for most combinations due to the increased load they apply to the front of the camshaft. This extra loading can lead to excessive distributor gear and drive gear wear, distributor gear pin breakage, and front cam bearing failure.
