Much better than stock
I bought these for my 86 GW overland build because the factory mirrors are so smalll they tend to be hard to see out of. The larger FJ Cruiser Mirrors you need are from a 2007 to 2014 are just perfect. Sure they don't look the same, different style but unless you are doing a 100% stock look restoration, who cares. The larger mirrors are a safety factor and I can add cameras to them that trigger when I use a turing signal to put a great view on my 10" info screen for even more safety. Plus there is a built in turning signal on each one for a more safe vehicle. I think the biggest complaint I've heard is cost. You can buy a set of two new power mirrors on Cars.com for $82 with their coupon. Then you have the $135 for the mounts and adapter and then if you want a perfect match to your Jeeps door $40 for the optional backing plates. You can get by for about $250. Have you priced like new FSJ mirrors on Ebay, seen them for $150 each. Of course you can go to the junk yard and get a pair of used ones for about $50 but you aren't saving much. Now if you want to be able to use the power function of the mirrors and the integrated turn signals, you'll need to pull a switch and part of the wiring harness out of an FJ cruiser for about another $10. If you don't mind the larger style which also is a bonus if you tow a trailer, I highly recommed.

There's a reason they didn't post a picture of it mounted
Don't buy this product, stick with your old mirrors or just buy the regular kit without the FJ Mirrors (which i cant review because i'm not buying a third set of mirrors) 205$ CAD for this kit, 230$ CAD for the Mirrors (new), 100$ CAD to color match to my truck, then having the most ridiculous looking mirrors on the road.. cant really put a dollar amount on that one. Save your money.
