Plastic bushings didn't fit, no instructions
1980 J10 - Hoping to fix a loose linkage and get all new plastic bushings but none fit. Kit only replaced one of the two cross shaft bushings with 1 brass bush and some rubber protectors. The corrugated boot has a spring inside it and is too short? and doesn't stay in place. There is a youtube video where a guy modifies these plastic bushings to get something workable, but still needs extras from local auto. I'm not sure if I mis-ordered, or didn't understand how to use them? No description about what parts are provided or how they are supposed to be used in the listing or item received. I bought this and still have a loose linkage because it only replaced 1 of the 'numerous' pivot points in the shift linkage.

Shift bushing kit
As far as the metal component with the brass bushing in it, it fits and works excellent, unfortunately, I have no idea what the three plastic grommets go to nor do I have an idea and what the boot goes to. Unfortunately the bushing that goes to the top of the shift rod that connects to the steering column pivot is not in this kit. Actually that is specifically what I needed and unfortunately I can't find it. But if you need the bushing that bolts to the frame rail, this one is far superior to the OEM one.
