AMC V8 High Mount Alternator Bracket.
Billet Aluminum High Mount alternator bracket for AMC 304, 360 & 401 V8 engines. Puts Alternator up high, traditionally where AC would be. Works with GM or AMC alternator. Fits engines from 1972-1991. Mounts alternator on USA passenger side in the factory location. Works with factory PS brackets and CVF Racing Brackets.
Works with a GM-style 2" mount alternator (also fits our Powermaster 2" Mount alternators).
If the lower bolt hole on your cylinder head is 7/16", the additional adapter kit in the pull-down menu will adapt that 7/16" hole to use the 3/8" bolt in the main kit. Note that the 7/16" threaded hole is typically found on older cylinder heads.

Good alternator bracket kit
Everything lined up correctly on my 401 AMC. My head had the 7/16 hole in it. The instructions could have been better but other than that it worked good. The oem drive belt was too small. Gates 7450 belt worked perfect. The ford alternator doesn't work with the kit, has to be a Chevy style one.
