Product Details

New bolt-in aluminum radiators for Buick 350-equipped rigs! The downflow design has dual 1-inch thick cores which offers better coolant flow and more cooling capacity than 4-core radiators. These radiators are available with a built-in automatic transmission cooler (select from the pull-down menu). These are fully welded (no epoxy, glue or gaskets).

These come set up for Buick 350 equipped Jeeps.

Note: transmission cooler lines will NOT work with stock mechanical fan.

Note: we recommend the use of Teflon applied to the transmission cooler fittings, but DO NOT use Teflon Tape, as it can bind and ruin the aluminum threads of the cooler. You should use liquid Teflon Tape instead.

Note: Stock Fan Shroud will not work with this radiator without modifications.

**NOTE: There is a difference between V8 Radiator Core Support Width and Straight 6 Radiator Core Support Width.  You MUST verify before ordering, as our aluminum radiators are based on and ONLY FIT the V8 core support width.

  • V8 Core Support Mounting Holes are approximately 29.41" across, Original Tank was Approximately 26.82" wide
  • Straight 6 Core Support Mounting Holes are Approximately 26.16" across, Original Tank was Approximately 24.5" wide

  • Perfect Replacement

Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about spending this much on a radiator, but I’m so glad I did. It was a perfect, drop in replacement that took no modification and was packaged extremely well. The inlet, outlet, and bolt holes were perfectly spaced and sized. I even got the factory shroud to fit with minimal modification to the shroud around the weld on the inlet of the radiator. Even though it was a perfect fit, there were downsides to this radiator. First, it took six months from order date to doorstep. However, this wasn’t BJ’s fault. The manufacturer they go through didn’t have the cores in stock, so we had to wait for them. BJ’s was very helpful and responsive with shipping updates. Second, this is a fantastic replacement, but if you’re going for an exact factory restoration, this isn’t the best option. Obviously the factory radiator is made of a different material. Also the pressure relief is pointed to the driver side on this radiator instead of the passenger side like the factory radiator. Not a big deal, just something to keep in mind. Lastly, it doesn’t come with a radiator cap. Not a problem at all, just know that you’ll have to order a cap if you’re looking to replace your old one. Even though there was a long wait time and a few mild differences from factory, I would absolutely recommend this radiator and would buy this again. Thanks BJ’s! You guys never disappoint!
