This valve is a great addition for those of you that have upgraded to either rear disc brakes, hydroboost, or any other brake upgrade! This eliminates the locking up of the rear brakes that some experience after upgrading their brake system.
You simply remove your stock proportioning valve, and install this adjustable unit between the master cylinder and the rear brakes. Then you just turn the knob a little at a time until the rear brakes engage where you want them to.

Adjustable Proportioning Valve
Added rear disc to my '84 J20 - rear would lock up under somewhat hard braking. Added this valve & turned it "down" - I have balanced brakes now!
