Product Details
Edelbrock Performer AMC Intake Manifold model # 2131 without EGR. This intake is designed for 1970-91 street 304-360-401 cid V8 engines. Edelbrock's Patented Dual-plane, low-rise design with a 180-degree firing order greatly improves torque over a wide rpm range for excellent throttle response from off-idle through 5500rpm. The Performer intake manifolds are ideal for Full Size Jeeps, as well as AMC cars.
You will want to transfer your oil baffle from the underside of your original intake manifold (self-tapping screws (rivets) included with each manifold)
We highly recommend using our Intake Manifold Gasket with Valley Pan HERE!
Use RTV sealant to properly seal the end seals at the front and back of the intake valley, making sure to have a little RTV extend up each head. DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS as they will leak.
Hardened washers MUST be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum
Manifold will not accept factory Motorcraft spread-bore carburetors.

44lbs lighter than stock 2bbl manifold. Noticeable increase in power
Stock intake without carb weighs 63 lbs! Edelbrock intake weighs 19lbs! 44lbs weight savings and so much easier to install. I used RTV instead of the rubber end seals along with some RTV on the front and back of the valley pan around water and intake ports. Runs great! I'm using a Edelbrock 1906 650cfm carb. Definitely notice the power increase from idle all the way trough the RPM range. Not an amazing amount of power vs stock intake on a stock 360 but definately noticeable. Next i'm going to open up the exhaust which should help it breathe even better.

Power!
Have had this intake on my 360 as long as I have owned it and after being in some stock setups the difference is very evident with the high rise 4 barrel. Your engine will thank you.
